A High School Term Paper Topic May Seem Easy to Come up With But Can Be Difficult to Write
High school was a breeze for me. And I loved it. I was a big fish in a small pond. Life was easy. One of my teachers once told me that when I walked into a classroom I had an A. I didn’t even have to earn it because I just had that type of reputation. I had a ton of friends in high school. The teachers were great but to be honest the subjects bored me. It’s not like I felt as thought it was all beneath me. It just came easier to me then the other students. My real passion was writing and my teachers knew that. I became editor of the high school paper and earned additional credits doing this. My senior year in high school my english teacher made me a sort of teacher’s assistant. She told me I could use it towards college credit for helping her in the classroom and assisting with teaching the class. I had really only heard of this in college but I was game. I got to grade papers and help the students come up with various high school term paper topics. I developed the following tips to help them write the best term and research paper ever.
1.Consider term-papers-writer.com for all of your term and research. They are a great site filled with a ton of useful information on writing great papers. Their blogs are funny yet informative. Termpaperwriter.org will even write your paper for you for a fee. Their writers are educated and are hand picked to your write your paper. They offer unlimited amendments and a percentage off your first order. Additionally, your bibliography and cover pages are free and there is no charge for email delivery.
2.Some possible high school term paper topics would be, where do you see yourself in five years? Do you plan on going to college? What would you like to be when you grow up? Describe your high school experience, what advise would you offer incoming students?
3.After you pick your high school term paper topic be sure to do your research. No matter what topic you may be writing about you want to be educated on the topic. Be sure to write about something that is specific yet broad and make sure you have ample sources available to you. Go the library, sit and read. Just read and take in all the information you can. You want to be come and expert on the topic and be able to speak with authority when writing your paper.
4.Now that you have done your research on your high school term paper topic you must now learn how to cite. There are many different citation methods: Chicago, Harvard APA and MLA. The latter two are the most commonly used methods. You can use the key below to help you decipher between the two methods
For APA use this:
Last name, first name. (year published).Title of Book. City published. Publisher
For the in text citation use this method:
(Last name, year, pp. numbers of pages)
For MLA use this:
Last name of author, First name of Author. Title of Book. Place Published: Publisher. Year. Print.
MLA also uses footnotes instead of in text:
I really had a blast my senior year teaching classes and helping the students come up with various term paper topics for high school. It was quite hard for them at first but once they got the hang of it they were able to write some stellar papers.
