A Research Paper Outline in the Apa Format Is Probably the Easiest of Formats to Work With
There is a process and a format for everything. I hate it. I like to be spontaneus and fund and carefree. I have always been that way. When I started dating my boyfriend, Jack, he is so anal about some things. The bathroom had to be set up a certain way, nothing that was not needed daily could not be left out. In the kitchen everything had to be organized according to the way things are used. First plates, then glasses and then of course forks, spoons and knives. This I can usually handle but when it comes to the dishwasher forget it. I get so tired of hearing about order from Jack, mugs on top bowls on the side plates in the middle. Having a set format can actually be a good thing. So when when I had to teach my students how to write research paper outlines in the APA format. I explained to them the idea of a clear format and order to things. I also gave them the following tips to help.
1.Termpaperwriter.org is a great site to utilize. It is filled with tons of blogs from writing a term paper on chemistry to to writing a research paper on history. They even have blogs on research paper outlines outlines in the APA format.
2. Termpaperwriter.org will even write your paper for you for a fee. They have excellent college educated writers who will tailor write a paper just for you. They offer unlimited ammendments and a percentage off your first order.
3. A basic reaseach paper outline in the APA format will help to structure your paper for you. In a blank document label each paragraph out and leave a least five to ten lines in between. These blank lines are where you plug in all the main points you hope to make in the paragraph as well as the citations you will be using.
4. Learning how to cite is key especially when writing a research paper outline in the APA format. There are various different citation methods: Chicago, Harvard, MLA and APA. The latter two are the most common yet the most similar. If your citations are not done correctly you will more than likely receive a failing grade. Use the key I have provided below to help you:
For APA use this:
Last name, first name. (year published).Title of Book. City published. Publisher
For the in text citation use this method:
(Last name, year, pp. numbers of pages)
For MLA use this:
Last name of author, First name of Author. Title of Book. Place Published: Publisher. Year. Print.
MLA also uses footnotes instead of in text:
5. When writing remember the basic term paper structure. The first paragraph is the introduction, tell the audience what you are going to tell them. Be sure to include your thesis and introduce all of your mains points. The subsequent paragraphs go into detail about the main points you just brought up. A good rule of the thumb is to have one citation per point being made. Your thesis should be present in some form in each paragraph. The last section is the conclusion. You should reiterate your main points, bring up the thesis again and finish off your essay with nice little bow.
I guess order and structure can really be a good thing. The apa research paper outline really helped my students focus on writing a great paper. But I still think my boyfriend is pretty nuts.
