I Learned How to Write a Research Paper Outline So I Could Jump Start My Research Paper
My boyfriend Mike is really busy. We started dating about a year ago and I can’t believe how full his plate it. It’s quite ridiculous actually. He gets up in the morning, gets a short work out in. Then heads to work. After work he either coaches basketball which is four days a week or teaches lessons on basketball which is two days a week. That leaves one day where he is not doing anything, Friday. By the time that day comes around he is way to exhausted to do anything. I love him and really miss him. It really sucks. I understand that all of these things are very important to him but I would really like to have my boyfriend for at least two nights a week without out having to share him with everyone else. I know it sounds selfish but there have been a few times where I just about given up and wanted to talk away. I don’t have to heart to tell Mike how I feel. I know basketball is a passion of his and he obviously has to work to make money. I needed to tell him how I felt. My best friend Natalie told me to write about it. I have always been a good writer and I can communicate much better in writing than I can just talking to someone. Natalie told me to do my research though. I wanted to make it feasible for Mike to give up something for me weather it was working out or coaching. I needed to really look into and think about what I was going to say. Natalie told me to look at as a research paper. I really didn’t know where to start so she taught me how to write research paper outlines. She also gave me the following tips to help me.
1.Consider term-papers-writer.com for all of your term and research paper needs. It is a great site filled with a ton of useful information on writing the best term or research paper ever. They even have blogs on how to write a research paper outline. Termpaperwriter.org is a very progressive site, they will write your paper for you for a fee. They offer unlimited amendments and a percentage off your first order.
2.When learning how to write research paper outlines make sure you understand the basic format of a research paper. The introduction, the body and the conclusion. The introduction introduces the paper and the points you will be making are present. The body goes into great detail about the points you just made. The conclusion sums up the paper by reiterating the points again and closing out the paper. Be sure to have one citation per point being made to really drive your paper home. The citations should be cited appropriately.
3.Citing your outline is very important make sure. Be sure the appropriate citation method is used. There are many different ones, including but not limited to: Chicago, Harvard APA and MLA. The latter two are the most commonly used. In order to differentiate you can utilize the key below to help you.
For APA use this:
Last name, first name. (year published).Title of Book. City published. Publisher
For the in text citation use this method:
(Last name, year, pp. numbers of pages)
For MLA use this:
Last name of author, First name of Author. Title of Book. Place Published: Publisher. Year. Print.
MLA also uses footnotes instead of in text:
4.In order to figure out how to write a research paper outline you must first pick a topic. After this is done label each paragraph let’s say one to twenty. Make sure there are spaces in between each paragraph. This is where you will plug in the main points you will be making in that paragraph as well as the citations you will be using. If your outline is written correctly your paper will pretty much write itself.
I had really hit a wall before starting my research paper for Mike. Learning how to write an outline for a research paper really helped me begin my paper an ultimately write a great one. It also help Mike and I. He really enjoyed reading it and ended up making time for me.
