Argumentative Research Papers Are Pretty Easy to Write
I didn’t grow up with my father. Typical story. My dad died when I was twelve and we never had a relationship. I had barely ever said two words to him in my entire life. I blamed my father for many things. The fact that we grew up with little to no money. The fact that I still have students loans and the reason why I can never be in a decent relationship where I always push men away. It really bothers me. I can’t keep a good one going. When I was in my twenties I went to a therapist it was a really odd experience. But helpful. I realized that most of my problems with all relationship stemmed from the fact that I didn’t have my father. When I became an adult in my late twenties I decided to do something about this. I went to a therapist. We talked for at least an hour nonstop. I did realize how angry I really was. When I left he asked me to write an argumentative research paper. He thought it would really help me figure out the cause of all of my anger and frustrations but he also gave me some great tips on how to write one.
1.There are basically two argumentative research papers. One is point by point. First you argue one point and directly after that you arguing the reverse side. Case in point, abortion. Pro abortion- a women has the right to do what she wants with her body especially in the instance of incest and rape. Against abortion- a baby is a life, who give you the right to play God and take another life.
2.The second type of an argument research paper is to write your arguments in blocks. Argue one side of the and list all of the points and then in the next block do the same thing for the opposing point. My therapist thought this was the least effective of the two.
3.Termpaperwriter.org is a great resource when writing term or research papers. They offer many helpful tips and blogs that not only assist you but also very entertaining.
4.Research in important when writing argumentative research papers. Especially if some of the points you are trying to make are controversial. You will need good sources to back up each point.
5.Editing is key. Yes you may know what you are trying to say but if a paper is not editing your point may be lost. How many times have you written “can” when you really meant “can’t.” There is a huge difference between those two words.
My research paper argument style, came out fairly well. More than anything else it was more therapeutic. Than anything else. I read it over and over. It helped me realize that yes my life was seemingly headed in one direction but I was the only one who had the power to change it.
