I live a life of structure. Honestly I like things to be just so all the time. I like my food arranged a certain way on the plate. My closet is organized via a rotation. Whether it is on the weekends or a work day I have a rotation of my suites. A rotation of my jeans, shorts and sleep-wear. It just helps me to make sure all of my clothes are well worn. Some may call me anal I just really want things in their place. My car also is old but clean. Taken care for. I just like all the parts of my life to be in the it’s place. That’s the way I phrased papers to my students when trying to teach them the term paper parts.

I am an eighth grade teacher. I love my job. I find that I really see the fruits of my labor and that I am really very needed. I also realize that learning to write a term paper is of number one importance. This is why the last unit I covered for these graduating eighth graders was term papers parts.

I was surprised how much the students seem to struggle with this. I think learning to write a basic research paper would really carry my students far. High school is filled with critical analysis research paper assignments and I wanted my students to be prepared for this.

I went over in great detail the basic parts of a term paper. The introduction, tell the read what you will be telling them. Lay out the main points and make sure your thesis statement is broad yet specific. The subsequent paragraphs are known as the body. This is where the student goes into great detail about each point made in the introduction. A good rule of the thumb is to have one good citation for each major point. This will allow the paper to pop. The last paragraph is the concluding one, it sums up your paper by reiterating the main points, the thesis and of course assessing the reader come to some sort of conclusion or finality about the topic.

Learning the term paper parts was very difficult for the students. They all seemed really frustrated. I really do think there was something about trying to communicate with the written word young students cannot grasp. They all became very, very frustrated.

I then began to describe the term paper units in parts. I would teach one paragraph a week. And the whole week would be on that part of the term paper. After a little over a month the term paper parts came together. I even went one step further and taught the students the importance of editing a term paper as well. When the school year ended I was very happy with my students. They had all worked very hard and learned the term paper parts. I knew they would be do very well in high school.

My senior year in college was the best years of my life. I was so happy, excited and a little bit sad. Life was so full of possibilities. I knew I’d miss my friends but I knew something amazing was right around the corner. I pretty much slacked off a lot my senior year. I knew I didn’t have much to do I had met all of my basic requirements. I now only had two elective writing classes and was able to sleep in till noon almost every day. Life was awesome. My friends and I would party at night and I would come home at two am every day. I knew this would be the only time that I would be able to have a life like this so I really tried to live it up. I went on some really great dates with guys I had been eyeing for over four years. I went to the movies, to the clubs and to a couple of pubs. At the beginning of the second semester, Dr Schneider called me into his office for the graduation consultation. He prefaced the meeting with the “I have some really bad news but it’s not the end of the world.” I felt my life flash before my eyes. I wondered if I wouldn’t graduate. Did I have to repeat my senior year over. Dr. Schneider then went into a long drown our explanation about how the system had not caught the one requirement I was missing. It was too late to get into the class but if I wanted to graduate I would have to write a microeconomics term paper.

I was an English major with an emphasis in writing. I was good at writing term papers. But a microeconomics paper was different. I knew nothing about analyzing consumers and the market they fell into. But if I wanted to graduate I would have to write a detailed critical analysis research paper on the topic.

Term papers in general are pretty easy beings. You have the introduction, body and conclusion. The thesis statement is very important as well as the sources. The thesis should be present in someway in every every paragraph and your research paper should be full of reputable sources. A good rule of thumb is that for every new point made use one supporting citation.

I began writing my microeconomics term paper. I woke up every morning at seven am and headed straight to the library. I couldn’t let my microeconomics term paper beat me. I had to graduate. I had worked so hard for three years. I had taken at least eighteen credit hours every year. I had to graduate on time with my friends.

The microeconomics term paper was far more difficult then I thought it would be. But it was actually sort of fun and interesting. I had to learn a lot of new terms and build a bunch of graphs and pie charts. Overall I really did feel like I learned a lot in a short amount of time since I was so determined. The evening before the paper was due I edited the paper one time thoroughly before I went to bed. The morning of I edited my term paper again before I hit the send button to email it to the professor. I caught many more mistakes that I did not see the previous night. I knew I would pass and graduate that year.

I needed some extra money big time. I had just taken out a mortgage on a home that was slightly out of my price range and I it seemed as though the price of groceries were rising every week. I had been trying to find a second job for over a month with out any luck. Until I had an idea. I was an English major in college and was a copy editor at one of the local papers. I could offer term paper research help to the college students in the area.

I was so behind on my bills I was scared to answer the phone or get the mail. Every time my phone rang I would jump. Every time my door bell rang I would peak through the peephole. I had this horrible vision of a banker in a stuffy suite handing me foreclosure paper work. I really didn’t know what direction to take. I kept thinking that my term paper idea better work or I would literally be living on the street.

I have always been a really good writer and I had to decide how I would market myself. I began posting ads for term paper research help on free websites and I even printed a bunch of fliers to hand out on college campuses.

My first call was from a young college freshman named Kelly. She called and talked to me about the research paper she had due in less than a week. Kelly told me she just didn’t have the time to put towards it and was wondering if I could help her with it. I told Kelly I would meet her at the university’s library the next day to help her with her term paper.

Kelly told me she really needed term research paper help. Her biggest problem was that she wasn’t able to do any strong critical analysis research paper. Kelly told me she would leave me on all work she had done thus far and asked that I had the paper done for her by next week.

I was little taken aback. My flier said that I would supply term research paper help. I said nothing about actually writing the term paper. I expressed my concern to Kelly and she in turn pull out her check book and asked me what it would take for me to write the six term papers she had left till the end of the semester. My mind quickly began to calculate. I gave a her a nice round figure and ten minutes later I was driving home with a check that would be enough to pay all my bills for the next couple of months.

I then began refocusing my term research paper help idea on this. There were many students who didn’t understand the basic parts of a term paper. A basic five paragraph term paper includes an introduction, body and conclusion. The thesis is very important and this is something that needs to be weaved in and out of each paragraph. You also need to end with a very strong conclusion.

I received inquiries from ten other students who wanted their term papers written and I was able to pay off most of my bills. When my phone rang I was able to answer it and all of my foreclosure nightmares went away all because I wanted to provide students with term paper research help.

I don’t want a lot from life. I like to think of myself as a fairly simplistic person. I just want a job, a car and a place to live. I don’t think that’s a lot to ask. I was in the middle of graduate school and had taken a job as a teaching assistant. I had just been given my dad’s mini-van and signed a lease on a new apartment. Things were pretty much where I wanted them to be until I began my life as a teacher’s assistant. The syllabus looked fairly easily as I glanced over it the Sunday I would be starting my job. The lesson plans seemed simple enough. I had to come up with term paper ideas,grade papers and teach classes. I did a double take when I read that. No one had ever told me that a teaching assistant had to actually teach classes.

I sat in the classroom my first day of being a teacher’s assistant and observed the professors. He introduced me and then I just sat down and watched his technique. He was boring now wonder he needed me to come up with term paper ideas. He looked to not have a creative bone in his body. I watched him with very little interest and glanced around the class room occasionally. Everyone looked the same way I felt. This class was going to be a challenge.

First on the lesson plan was term papers. I cold see that the class was full of freshman and I was pretty sure none of them had written research paper before. I started by going over the basic five paragraph term paper format.

Make sure you have a thesis this should be present in the introduction, first paragraph, and derivatives of this should be found in proceeding paragraphs. Only allow one topic per body paragraph and make sure you have a very strong conclusion. Additionally always edit your papers twice. Once in the morning and once at night.

I was really having a hard time engaging the students and coming up with term paper ideas. I began doing some critical analysis research on what topics students of this age range would be interested in. There wasn’t very much to choose from ad far as education goes. Aside from the television shows I had never heard of, bands I didn’t understand websites that seemed ridiculous I was really grasping at straws. Then I had an idea.

I walked into my classroom the next morning and told the students they they would have to write a term paper. But the most interesting and fun thing about it was they could write about anything they wanted but were still having a hard time coming up with ideas

A week later I had twenty-five papers in front of me to grade. They ranged from sports, to music, to stamp They were all very good considering it was probably the first paper any of them had written. I laughed and wondered what the professor would think of their term paper ideas.

My mom always told me “the person asking the questions is the one that wants the relationship.” I always felt this was true and observed the way I spoke and how other people spoke to each other. It made for a lot of people watching. I developed a real skill for this. I loved to watch people. I would sit for hours at the train station taking notes or even observing people in restaurants while having lunch alone. The more and more I did this the more I learned about the art of communications. I had always had the hardest time with relationships. During most of my relationship I always felt that I was the person who actually wanted it. This pertained from friendships to actual intimate relationships. I rarely ever felt wanted. I’d been thinking a lot about what my mom had told me. I had always been a great term paper writer and decided to really examine it and write a philosophy term paper.

I have been on my share of blind dates. My best friend Betty use to always set me up with the most random men you would have ever imagined. She use to walked around with a picture of me in her wallet. If she met a man she thought I would like she would whip it out. I began thinking of these dates as critical analysis research for my philosophy term paper. I began keeping my mouth shut. Which is actually very hard for me since I was always such a big talker. I have always been the person who wanted the relationship. I just wanted to be wanted and I wanted to be pursued every once in a while. My philosophy was, let them come to you.

I began writing my philosophy term paper so I would have something to drive me. I think everyone needs a philosophy in life. It helps to have one and stick to it as the driving force for you. I began the term paper stating my philosophy in life. I then had four mains points that would help me stick to it and elaborated on I came to this idea. I had a MLA citation for each point an ended my philosophy term paper with a very strong conclusion.

A week later Betty set me up with her gynecologist, Sean. I laughed at the picture I had in my head: Betty laying on the table, stirrups, hospital gown white gloves and of course a picture of me. I told her I would go and prepared myself for a really funny night. I reread my term paper right before Sean was to pick me up. I wanted to feel wanted.

Sean was what I would call an average looking guy. He was average height a little premature balding but overall a sweet face and really deep hazel eyes. We went to what was his favorite restaurant and the talking began. I waiting for Sean to initialize the conversation always answering his questions then asking him the same question to him but also trying really hard not to ask any follow up inquiries. My research paper had served me well.

It was a very pleasant night. As usually most first dates are. Sean was a real gentleman funny and very smart. He took me home and immediately asked to see me again. My philosophy term paper had also taught me not to be so needy or wear my heart on my sleeve. I told him that I would get back to him. Knowing that I would indeed call him for another date in a day or two.

Sometimes when I’m driving to work or down the street my mind wanders. I watch people. I see couples dressed up and I wonder where they’re going. I watch people laughing and giggling on the phone. I see little children strapped into car seats and five people packed into a compact car laughing. They all seem so happy. I wonder why my life can’t be like that. I want to be happy. I want to have friends. I want to have a family. I wonder why we are dealt the cards we have. Why some people have such a seemingly easy life and others always have to struggle. I was one of those people who has had to struggle all my life. And sometimes I was just down right bitter about it. I made many bad choices in life. I wore my heart of my sleeve. I always gave everything I had to my relationships. I didn’t know how to balance my personal life and my professional life. I had just come out of a relationship that isolated me from friends and family, buried in bills. I decided to get a part time job as a academic writer. I wrote term papers for students who weren’t able to do it themselves. I really needed the money and I had always been a good writer. The problem was being a good writer wasn’t enough. I really had to figure out the correct term paper format as well.

Different papers require a different term paper format. Depending on if you’re writing a research paper or even a critical analysis research paper, they’re are so many different variables. I had to learn to master them if I wanted to make a living doing this. The basic term paper format was what I decided to work with:

1.Introduction paragraph- tell them what you’re going to talk about. Include a thesis statement.
2.Seperrate each point into it’s own paragraph. Have a supporting citation for each main point.
3. Make sure you know what citation format you are using APA(in text) or MLA (footnotes)
4.Last paragraph- tell them what you just told them, again, and bring back your thesis and conclude your paper.

I thought it was a fairly easy term paper format to follow. I could essentially plug in any kind of term paper I needed into this standard equation. At least one thing in if my life was easy.

I knew I needed to get out of this jaded mindset. Now that I would be making extra cash mastering a great term paper format I could be a little less thrifty. I began going out, finding friends, trying not to be so judgmental of others and living in the moment. It was nice to have people to talk to. People to share ideas with and generally remember how to act in social situations. I had more energy, more confidence and was now not only watching other people having fun and living their life but I was participating as well.

I was never a big flirt or a girl who got a lot of guys. I was always envious of the super popular crowd. They were cool, good looking and really very smart. I was not. I just didn’t understand what aspects of a person made them get into the popular crowd. Did it all fall on looks? I envied the way the cool girls got all the great looking guys. I marveled at how they talked to them with such ease. I for one couldn’t do. I literally turned to mush every time a cute guy would talk to me. I was such a nerd. I couldn’t even look guys I liked in the eye. My sophomore year in high school was the worst. I met Russell. He was the best looking guy I had ever seen in my entire life. And he actually paid attention to me. He didn’t walk by and pretend like I didn’t exist. He acknowledged me and was really nice. This made me really want to study the cool girls since I wanted Russell to like me. I decided to write a sociology term paper.

In order to write my sociology term paper I began casually observing the popular crowd for hours at a time. I would watch them and take notes during lunch time. I payed attention to their general mannerisms. And tried to mimic their snappy comebacks and general conversation flow. One afternoon as I was following Stacy, one of the popular crew, I literally ran into Russell. He smiled as he helped pick up my term papers and glanced at the critical analysis research I had compiled over weeks of observation. I quickly grabbed my belongings from his hand and smiled. He called me by name, looked me right in the eye and asked me how I was doing. I couldn’t talk. I could see that all the work I had done for my research paper was falling by the wayside. He then asked me If I wanted to get a some coffee after school. I could barely choke out a yes before I made a quick exit.

I ran home and decided to work on my sociology term paper. I thought this evening would be my one shot with Blake and I didn’t want to blow it. My term paper consisted of five strong observations I had made. I stated all five points in the beginning paragraph and the last sentence of the introduction was my thesis statement. I allotted one paragraph for each point I made and had one supporting source for each using the MLA citation method. I had a strong conclusion where I reiterated my five ideas and brought back my thesis statement.

That evening I met up with Russell at the local coffee shop. He was so much better looking up close. We sat down and he talked, I listened. I tried to incorporate the silly comments and comebacks I saw Stacy and the other girls make but I knew I was coming off sounding ridiculous. He finally reached across the table touched the top of my hand and told me all he needed me to be was myself. I could see my sociology term paper had served me well. It taught me exactly how not to act.

My junior year in high school the school counselors had the brilliant idea to give everyone a career development test. I didn’t understand how some bozo siting in a room making up a bunch of really silly questions could figure out what my future career would be. After you found out you had to write a term paper on it. I didn’t buy it. My friend Michael swore by it. He kept telling me how four years ago this test predicted that his cousin Betty would become a an insurance salesman and that was exactly what she was doing now. I thought he was cray but since freshman year that was all he could talk about. He really believed this test was the end all be all. Michael was eager to know what he would be doing with the rest of his life. I really tried to get him to see that there was no possible way a series of questions could predict the future. He would let nothing deter him from thinking that the following week he would know exactly know what his major in college would be. I laughed at him as the days approached but I couldn’t shake him. He was so excited the morning we were to take the test. I told him I would meet him at lunch to talk about it. That afternoon, as I was eating my pizza, Michael threw his tray down with such force I almost spit out my food. He stared at me dead in the face and said. “I am going to be a farmer.” Michael was going to have to write an agriculture term paper.

I couldn’t help but laugh at Michael. Honestly he was doomed to be a doctor or a scientist. There was no way he would ever be a farmer. Michael really saw this as the end of the world. He kept asking himself rhetorical questions. “What have I been working so hard for?” “What does science have to do with farming?” I tried to reassure him that it was just a stupid test. But he would have none of it. He decided to the do the best he could on his agriculture term paper.

Michael quickly went to work. Doing some strong critical analysis research on farming. He interviewed some farmers and learned that science actually played quite a big role in farming. He compiled a bunch of live sources as well as periodicals and books.

My career development test was dead on. It said I would be a journalist. As a writer I wanted to help Michael write the best agriculture term paper he could. I gave him the following tips.

1. Write clearly and concisely
2. Try to remain unbiased and present positives and negatives
3. Develop a clear thesis
4. Finish your research paper strong.
5. Site all sources even people you interview
6. Have fun. This paper is really for you.

Michael spent a solid week writing his agriculture term paper. Initially he had felt that being a farmer was too blue collar and too menial for him. But after researching and spending days on his term paper he felt that perhaps being a farmer may be something he wanted to do. He found it to be a very respectable and profitable profession and something he may want to go into.

“Be sure” everyone told my sister Leigh this when she became engaged to Gabriel her high school sweetheart. She didn’t really listen to anyone else. She kept saying how in love she was and how happy she was that she finally found someone who understood her. Our parents never did. She had been dating Gabriel for one year and the summer before they were going off to college he got down on one knee at my sister’s graduation party. I laughed I was sure Leigh would say no. But she shocked everyone including my dad by saying yes. He had asked my dad for permission before buying a tiny rock that would be the object of years of payments for Gabriel and his car wash income. I never liked Gabriel. I always thought he was a little too controlling and manipulative. He always wanted my sister be around. He didn’t like to share her with anyone. And everything they did was on his terms. I sort of felt like Gabriel asking Leigh right before they went to college was another controlling factor. They were going to separate colleges. He to a local junior college and my sister was headed to one almost two hours away. They had already made plans for almost every weekend during the first semester of college. That evening, after I was able to pull my sister away from sucking face with him, I voiced my concern. Leigh was really angry. She told me how jealous I was and that I just didn’t want to see her happy. I asked her to do me one favor, write a critical analysis term paper on Gabriel. She look at me like I was nuts.

Leigh was a great writer. She was going to college to major in journalism. And she was so smart. She always did well in school and received very high marks on all her term papers. I think when it came to love she just couldn’t put her feelings aside. When I finally calmed Leigh down I told her that I wanted her to be happy and that this critical analysis research paper would be just for her. She wouldn’t even have to show it to me. I just wanted her to indeed “be sure” about Gabriel. I told her a marriage is for life and if hey were to get into a fight she couldn’t just walk away from it.

It just so happened that I had just finished my sophomore year in college. My final paper for Advanced Writing was a critical analysis research paper on a popular author. I searched through by school looking for my syllabus and notes finding the exact directions on how to write this paper. I took it right to Leigh she read it out loud in her most professional voice:

1. Pick a person of interest as you will have to give a deep biographical analysis of their life.

2. It is not enough to give a biographical synopsis of their life. It will have to be more analytical: i.e. because this happened in (blank) this led them to do ( blank)

3. Please give a clear thesis and weave it into every single paragraph

4. Site sources. Good reputable sources. Only two websites are permitted.

We laughed when she read the sources part. I did tell her it would be a good idea to talk to his parents a bit they would be good resource. And of course she should definitely plug his name into a search engine. You never know what someone could be hiding. Lastly I told Leigh to way the pros and cons. Did she feel like Gabriel was ambitious? Would he be able to support a family and hold a job? She rolled her eyes at that but did look like she was really started to take some of what I was saying to heart.

A week later Leigh handed me her critical analysis research paper. It made me laugh and cry. She said she had learned a lot while doing. The biggest thing was that Gabriel’s birth father left when he was very young and the reason why he indeed was so controlling was because his life was so out of control when he was little. She said she was very happy she did it and was still going to remain engaged to Gabriel, for now at least.
