I had envied Peter from afar for two years but he had a girlfriend, Ginger. She looked like a super model. Long dark hair and eyes. Her legs were a mile long and she had smile worthy of a tooth paste commercial. Peter and I flirted casually the way two office companions do. The university that Peter and I worked for was a very strict Christian institution. They would really frown upon dating in the work place so when I heard through the grapevine that Peter and Ginger were no longer I didn’t think much of it. That afternoon I was stuck in my office going over a lesson on term paper parts for my freshman when Peter walked in and sat down. We casually talked about work when a lull hit the conversation he brought up Ginger then his voice changed and he said he had always had feelings for me.

Peter and I began talking on the phone at first. Yes I had know him for years but that didn’t mean I knew him in any kind of romantic way. We’d have late night conversations and talk about life and relationships. Then the conversations got later and later into the night. Sometimes talking till two or three o’clock in the morning. They got pretty intense at times. We would talk about are deepest and darkest feelings and fears. The problem was at work we avoided each other like the plague. My heart would beat faster every time I saw him but I knew there was little I could do at the time.

The term paper parts lesson plan was coming along slowly. My brand new freshman just couldn’t grasp basic concepts. I tried to stress how easy a term paper was. Term papers include a basic introduction, body and conclusion. I explained the importance of a thesis statement as well as the analysis research involved when trying to write a research paper. I went on to explain the importance of good reputable sources in this day and age of internet sources.

The following week it seemed like the students were finally able to grasp the concept of term paper parts and things were looking up. Peter had actually asked me out on a date and we had spent all evening talking. We went back to his place for a night cap and talked some more. All of a sudden we heard a door slam in his driveway. Peter’s face went wild I glanced out the window and saw the Dean of students, Dr. Harold Chump, walking toward the door. Peter and Dr. Chump were friends so it was common place for them to hang out often. I cringed a bit we were both in our thirties and we both just felt like we had been caught by our parents but this could mean the end of both or our careers.

I would have rather been teaching term paper parts than be in this situation. Peter quickly opened the door and I grinned sheepishly at Dr. Chump. He looked from me to Peter smiled and excused himself out of Peter’s house. He yelled a quick “I didn’t see a thing” as he walked right back to his luxury car and drove off down the street.

There are very few things that I really dislike in life. Most things don’t bother me. But when I met the man of my dreams and had to move three states away I halfway considered finding someone else. I hate to move. I hate packing I hate lugging things around and asking people to help me move. I despise driving a huge truck especially the hundred miles away and I don’t like when people see all my personal belongings. I am a very private person. I don’t want someone helping me with my bed or move boxes full of my underwear. It’s just odd to me. I would rather do anything else but move. I’d rather gouge my eyes out then throw all my stuff in a box and then unpack it all a few days later. But Ryan my fiancee was wonderful and so I began to pack. I occasionally would run into my old college term papers and books and throw them in a box. I began remembering how much I loved to write. I was reminded of the term paper thesis and the various parts of a paper. I decided to start pursuing my writing again.

Ryan represented for me what would be a new beginning. I loved Ryan and moving to a whole other state was something I was doing for me. I did not have a job, friends or family in Maine. But Ryan had gotten a great job as a graphic designer t and told me I could do what ever I wanted. I could go back to school, get a job or even just sit around all day. I didn’t want to do the latter. I had always been a very active person. I wanted to do something I loved again, write.

I thought writing term papers would be a quick way to get back into it. It would be a wonderful way to make extra money and a consistent way to get back to writing everyday. I remembered my old english teacher telling me that a term paper thesis was the most important part of a research paper. So when I got a job writing analysis research papers I really tried to focus on the term paper thesis.

When I wrote a term paper I really did my best with it. I would write a quick outline on exactly what direction I wanted it to go. I jotted down the introduction and the main points I would focus on. I would also detail out each paragraph and put in the appropriate citations I would be using. The concluding paragraph would sum up the paper and I would also restate the main points. Lastly the term paper thesis would be present throughout the entire essay.

I started making quite a bit of money writing term papers for college students. It was rather nice having a purpose and making money. Ryan was happy since he really thought I would be absolutely miserable in Maine but was glad that I had found a small niche in our new place with the term paper thesis.

I am an anomaly in the publishing world. I have been an editor for eight years and I really love it. But the truth was the reason I became an editor was that I didn’t have a creative bone in my body. I have always been a horrible writer. I am not a very extroverted person. I can’t be funny or get a story to flow correctly. Most people in my position had gone from editing to writing. But I knew that just was not in the cards for me. I would be an editor till the day I died. My forte was verbs, conjugations and sentence structure. At my company editors often got stuck writing some ghost chapters for some high level authors. It was actually great for most editors since they had aspirations of being writers someday. I on the other hand did not. So when my publisher came up to me requesting some term paper editing help I laughed until he told me I was suppose to write the term paper as well.

I was a little taken aback when my supervisor, Michael, asked me for term paper editing help. Michael pulled me aside one afternoon and told me his son, Tim, had been having a ton of problems at school. Namely he was an amazing lacrosse player who simply just didn’t have time to keep his grades up. He needed a stellar research paper or he would not only flunk out of his university but he of course would never be able to play lacrosse on the collegiate level again.

I really thought Michael had lost it. He knew that I really believed I was not a good writer. But he quickly explained that writing term papers were different. It was not about being funny or interesting but getting the facts across and proving a point. He also handed me a basic research paper structure which outlined a basic term paper. This included an introduction, body and conclusion. A strong thesis was needed. As well as an even stronger conclusion. I also had to used the MLA footnotes citation method. Michael continued to reiterate that term paper editing was fairly mechanical and little to no creativity was needed.

Michael was willing to pay me a large some to ensure the graduation and participation in collegiate sports for his son. I began doing some key analysis research on the topic and found myself at the library daily. I had to laugh. I had not been to the library in ages. Even when I was in college the most time I had ever spent on a paper was a couple of hours. I slowly realized that editing played a very key role in the flow of the paper.

When I finally got down to the editing, I found it to be a piece of cake. Since I had written the paper for Tim, editing it came very easily. I knew what I was trying to say and the ideas really flowed. I edited the paper fully. Then got up, walked away and came back to the term paper a couple of hours later and edited it again. I had begun doing this five years ago. I found that many mistakes become more clear after you have a cup of tea and come back to the paper with a fresh set of eyes.

Tim turned in my term paper and was indeed able to stay on the lacrosse team and Michael was beyond happy for his son. And I was happy that my lack of imagination paid off when it came to term paper editing.

One of the hardest things I ever had to do was learn to drive a car. It was really very difficult. My dad taught me to drive. The one and only time I heard him yell at the top of his lungs was when I drove into oncoming traffic not realizing I was in the wrong lane until I saw headlights coming towards me. Driving was hard. I didn’t get it. I didn’t understand how I would ever be able to listen to the radio and drive. I would see people eating and driving or on the phone and driving and I didn’t think it was possible for the body to do so many things at once. I thought I would never learn to drive. I was slowly beginning to think I should buy a permanent bus pass. I really just wanted to give up. My dad sat me down and told me this is just something you will have to learn to do. I told him I was just not good at it. I couldn’t handle the hand eye coordination and the constant attention. I had always thought of myself as more of an intellectual. I write term papers, study and do very well in school. I could see a light go off in my dad’s head. He told me the reason I didn’t like driving was because a car didn’t makes sense to me. He wanted me to write an analysis research paper on the mechanics of an automobile.

Everyday my dad would get home form work, have dinner and then take me out driving. I dreaded it terribly. But now I dreaded my analysis research paper anymore. Leave it to me to create more work for myself. My dad told me he wanted my paper within three weeks. And to use the time that I would be practicing my driving on my analysis research paper. I thought he was kidding. But he stood his ground. He was sure the reason why I didn’t like driving was because I didn’t understand how a car worked. I was going through the motions of pressing an accelerator, shifting gears and turning a wheel but I didn’t know why I was doing it. There was some truth to that. My dad always said my favorite question was, “Why.”

I decided I had to buckled down. I knew I couldn’t higher a chauffeur or buy buss passes for the rest of my life. Besides, my parents wanted me to start shuffling my little brother around. I went straight to the public library to pick books on the mechanics of automobiles. Most of them were tattered and yellow with age. Some were even dirty with grease and oil but I suppose that meant they would be perfect for my analysis research paper.

I structured my paper with the describing the four main processes one goes through while driving a automobile. The turning of the steering wheel, the accelerator, the shifting of gears and of course the brakes. I presented all four points in a clear thesis statement that I weaved throughout the paper. I established a topic sentence for each point and presented the process and the reason for the process in that paragraph. My final paragraph explained how they all worked together to help the car function. I added one source for each point that supported the main idea. I knew my dad would be impressed with my analysis research paper.

The following month I got back in the car excited at how much I learned and comfortable in the fact that I knew exactly how to operate this one ton machine. My dad was indeed happy with my analysis research paper. I did drive much better during the driving lessons proceeding my paper. But I still drove into on coming traffic upon occasion.

I loved high school. It was probably the best part of my young adult life. I had lots of friends and really was pretty popular. I loved when people said hello to me by name. I loved the excitement. Hanging out with friends, meeting new people and always having something to do. My senior year in high school was the best. I was given the position of editor of the school paper. I was beyond excited about it. I knew it would be a great opportunity for me. I could see my creative juices flowing now. That was until my first editorial turned into a high school term paper.

The first day I walked into the news paper room as the editor I could feel the respect brewing. I called my first meeting to order wrote all the potential articles on the white board. I quickly gave out assignments to the eager freshman and the not so forthcoming juniors. I talked to the graphics artist about the new layout I envisioned started making phone calls to fill ad space. I did everything I thought an editor should be doing. Then realized I was not much of an editor. I was horrible at editing my own term papers let alone a whole newspaper. I knew this would be a problem.

The evening I got to work writing my editorial. I let my ideas flow. I introduced myself as the new editor. I talked about how much I loved going to school here. How the teachers were great and that I would definitely miss the school when I was went off to college the following year. When I was done it looked more like a high school term paper. It was long, at least five pages. I guess I really thought what I had to say was important. I just couldn’t edit myself.

Not only could I not edit myself I was really starting to think I was in over my head. As I was handed stacks for articles daily I became very overwhelmed with the editing processes. I would try to edit an article and when I was done I would pass it along to the junior editor who was getting frustrated with having to catch all my mistakes. She asked me if I had ever edited a high school term paper in our writing class I told her yes but editing those were completely different than editing an article.

That afternoon I decided if I wanted to keep my job I would have to learn how to edit an article and not just a high school term paper. I went to the library and did some key analysis research on editing. It was harder than you would think. There were so many rules to follow. Most people make everyday mistakes when writing. I even found a really good research paper on how to write a great high school term paper.

The term paper had three main points when writing a term paper. The first was keep it simple. Pick a broad topic that you can find many sources on. The second, if you can pick how you want to site sources site APA is it the easiest and most effective. And third, it’s a high school term paper, not college odds are it doesn’t have to be perfect and you can only get better from here. I did find a lot of solace in the last statement. I was only a senior. I really only ever wrote high school term papers. I couldn’t expect my first newspaper publication to be perfect just descent.

Friday morning I was looking forward to seeing my first printed publication. As far as my editorial went I was really excited to see my high school term paper in print. I was unable to shorten the length of it and I wouldn’t let my junior editor touch a word. I got lots of comments on my first published paper. I also received many comments on my editorial. Not many of them were good which led me to believe I probably wouldn’t be editor much longer

My sophomore year in college we had an adjunct Philosophy professor who had to leave suddenly mid October when he got into a weird motorcycle accident. The morning the new professor walked in you could see all the women in the room run their fingers through their hair and sit up a little taller in their seats. If you listened closely enough every single women in that roomed sucked in a large amount of air. The new adjunct professor was gorgeous. He had a perfectly symmetrical face, deep blue/gray eyes and dark jet black hair. He also had the most amazingly chiseled body and was very tall at least six feet. My mouth dropped open and I looked over at my friend, Alley, she was really sizing him up from head to toe. Professor Burke was his name. Professor Burke was very earth friendly. He drove a hybrid car, was a vegetarian and really believed in recycling. She discovered that he was an avid lacrosse player. That was where he got that body. Alley tailored her personal ad to reflect him. She wrote about how she hated animal cruelty, was an avid recycler and tried to walk everywhere she went. All lies. Her idea was he would read her college term paper about herself and be so enamored with the similarities that he would call and ask her out.

That afternoon Alley found me in the library working on my research paper. She startled me so badly that I screamed loudly causing unwanted attention. She told me that she had just sent the online term paper to “Byron” and was hoping to run into him in the library. I had also received the attention of the object of her affection. I cringed as I saw Professor Burke walking towards us. He asked us how we both were and then wanted to speak to Alley alone. Twenty minutes later Alley walked back towards me red faced with tears in her eyes. Yes Alley had done some strong research for her online term paper. But these search engines failed to produce that Professor Byron Burke was an openly gay man.

It is pretty easy to end up back at home. The truth is it’s a very scary world out there.
