If it Wasn’t for That Expository Term Paper I’d be a Free Man
My best guy friend Paul got into a little trouble last year when he was living with him girlfriend Janet. Janet was a little jealous. Honestly I had never met a woman quite like her. She was so pretty. Not to mention she had the most amazing body. Janet was tall with dark hair and eyes and legs that went on forever. Needless to say she had what every woman wanted. And Paul was hot. He tall and very very muscular. They both even went to the gym and ran together five days a week. On the outside you would really think they were a perfect couple but her jealously was really crippling their relationship. Paul moved in with Janet after they had only been dating a month, slowly he notice the signs. She started reading everything, his phone, bills even his the expository term paper he wrote for his English class. Janet also never wanted Paul to go anywhere by himself. Sometimes she would follow him other times she would just make it impossible for him to leave.
For the life of me I could never see why in the world she was so insecure. She had everything even Paul. Okay as you can tell I have always had a crush on Paul. His sister dated my older brother for awhile which is why I had known Paul since I was a little girl. It didn’t matter, he didn’t know I was alive. Well he knew he just didn’t care.
Paul and I were in the same Religion class. We had been give an assignment to write an expository term paper on the Nicene Creed. It was a pretty easy assignment for me. I could write term papers in my sleep. Religion was also my major but Paul was really struggling. I told him I would be more than happy to help him with the assignment. We made plans to meet at the library that evening. I waited that evening for over an hour. I had a bunch of other term papers I needed to do some critical analysis research on. I called his apartment but did not get an answer. When the second hour passed and I still didn’t see Paul I figured he just forgot.
That night I was working on some other research papers in bed. I was pretty upset that Paul hadn’t remembered to call and at least apologize. My eyes sprang open by the sound of my phone ringing. I looked at the clock it was two in the morning. I felt around for my phone a very frantic Paul was on the end of the line. I just remembered hearing: bail five hundred, Janet’s nuts and I needed to get down their right away.
Turns out Janet had found out that I would be helping Paul with his expository term paper and went crazy I guess she already didn’t like that I was friends with him. But she was more angry that he was spending his time with me when he could have been spending it with her. Janet began to push Paul and he got fed up and pushed her back a little too hard. She ended up calling the police and Paul was now in jail for domestic abuse.
Needless to say Paul and Janet’s relationship did not last but I think they both learned a lesson from it. Janet’s was not to be so jealous and controlling and Paul’s was to learn to write an expository term paper on his own.
