There are rules for everything in life. That’s pretty obvious. There are rules for driving. Stay in your lane. Don’t cut people off and pay attention to the speed limit. There are a set of guidelines when you are in a working envorment. Don’t date your co -workers. Watch what you say. Don’t make any insulting or negative comments. And always try to get along with everyone. Of course there are rules in life. Do the right thing. Help old ladies across the street. Don’t lie, cheat or steal. When I became an english teacher I had to teach my students many things. I wanted them to learn the great authors. They had to learn how to write great poems and prose. But the number one thing I had to teach them were term paper guidelines.

1.Number one term paper guideline is too understand the basic term paper structure. A paper should include the introduction body and conclusion. The introduction introduces the paper and explains basic points you will be making. This is also the paragraph where we first see the thesis. The subsequent paragraphs go into great detail about the points you just introduced. Allow one paragraph per point you hope to make. And one citation per paragraph. This is known as the body of the paper. The last paragraph is the conclusion and concludes the paper. It sums up your paper. Not only is each point reiterated bt the thesis statement is as well.

2.When trying to teach my students the term paper guidelines I had to teach them to site. There are various citation methods, Harvard, Chicago, MLA and APA. The latter two are the most common. You can use the key below to help you.

3.When leaning a particular term paper guideline always remember to do your research. Try and spend some quality time in the library learning the topic you are writing about. Really read and saturate your brain with all the available information. Try and become an expert on the topic you are writing about.

4.The biggest problem I see when grading papers is the lack of editing. Make sure you thoroughly edit all of your papers. Really go over it with a fine tooth comb. This can be hard. It is very difficult to edit your own work. Most schools have free tutoring available. You can also have a peer look it over. But spelling and grammar errors are a no no and can severely lower your grade.

It was very difficult trying to teach my students the basic guidelines of a term paper. They were really having a hard time grasping the idea of it. Like I said there are rules for everything. Once they understood they basic rules of writing a research paper the rest came easily for them.

I got really frustrated in college. I was such a big fish in a small pond in high school. I was so poplar and the work load was very easy for me. I loved it there. If they outline is down well this will pretty much write your paper for you.

Writing a term assignment came so easily to me after this. I was able to pound all my papers with the tips below and being a small fish in big pond wasn’t so bad anymore. As long as that fish was getting good grades.

Everyone new that information technology was the future. It was crazy how much it seemed to be growing. My brother Paul told that was definitely a field I wanted to get involved in. He kept telling that I would make so much money if I did it now. Paul said I would be on the cutting edge. I of course listened to my brother. Moreover most papers on technology is more desriptive in nature. It takes a lot of words to say one thing. Which is why editing your paper is so important. It is very difficult to edit your own work. 3. Do your research. Technology is different and hard and constantly changing. It is not a stagnant field. You want to keep up with the times. Subscribed to all the magazines. Go to the conferences and really stay current by reading all the updated info on the websites.

I had always wanted to be an eighth grade teacher why? Because my teacher was the best teacher I had ever had. He was wonderful. Science sucks. I really hate science. I was a an English major. I never understood the idea of prerequisits. Why do I have to dissect frogs, learn about cells and anatomy. It’s not fair. I was just never good at any of that. I had such a hard time grasping science. I am not good at memorizing and frankly had no interest in science. It’s boring. My best friend Vanessa and I were slackers in college. I will totally and freely admit to it. I didn’t care. Well I cared. I usually went to all my classes. Depression runs in my best friend Cali’s family. It’s pretty bad. Her mom and dad both have it and so does her older brother. I had been reading articles about it for her. There are ways to supposedly combat the effects. You can exercise more and get the endorphins going. You can take vitamins especially vitamin D and of course really try and keep a positive attitude were you think no matter what happens in life there is always tomorrow. Cali recently decided to become a vegan. After about a three months of this her depression started to kick in. It was horrible. She was acting weird. Shutting herself off sleeping all the time and she had really no energy. Cali really did try and get all the vitamins she needed without eating animals or a byproduct of animals. Her attitude was getting worse. Finally I sat her down and told her we needed to do some research and write a psychology term paper.

I have such a hard time focusing. I really do think it’s attention deficient disorder at times. My mind seems to race and I always have a million things going through my head. I have always been good at writing papers but lately that too was not coming very easily. I would sit down and the words would no longer come to me. I even had a really hard time focusing on reading. I finally couldn’t take it anymore and went to see a doctor on it. She told me I was suffering from acute anxiety and that she could give me a some medication to calm me down. I had never been very good at taking meds. In fact I have always been more of a naturalist. My number one concern were my grades in particular focusing on writing my term and research papers. I finally talked to my English teacher about the problems I was having. He suggested in order to help me focus I should write an outline term paper.

1.Outline term papers are great tools to help you focus. It is sort of map of your term paper. Clearly label a piece of a paper with paragraphs one- what ever number you think you would have. Then clearly write in the main points that will be made in each paper.

2.Outline term papers can also save you time. If you plug in the citations you will be using in their respective paragraphs you will either be able to write your essay according to the citation or vice versa.

3.Make sure you edit your outline term paper. More than likely you will write your term or research paper completely out of your outline. If you make a mistake in your outline than more than likely you will make the same mistake on your paper.

After a year of writing term paper on nursing I learned that nursing was something I didn’t and couldn’t do with my life. The Hardest of the Two Main Citation Methods Is the MLA Term Paper Format

I have been a freshman English teacher for three years. It’s always been a really great job. I love my students. I try and do the best I can for them and be a genuine example to them. It can be hard trying to be a goody goody all the time. The problem was we lived in a real small town and anything I did and anyone I went out with was pretty much public knowledge. The government ruled the school. I slowly began feeling like less of a educator and more a babysitter. It was getting pretty ridiculous. The beginning of my forth year of teaching the school board decided to change the curriculum. They decided to put stipulations on everything. There were certain books my students had to read and some they absolutely could not read. There was also a set amount of essays that needed to be written in particular the MLA term paper.

1.When writing an MLA term paper make sure you do your research. The best thing to do is to read. Read pretty much everything you can get your hands on. From books to journals and articles. Really focus and try to become an expert on what you are writing about. Stay away from websites. They are unreliable and usually compromised.

2. Even though we are focusing on MLA term papers it is worth it to learn the other most common citation APA. Use the key below to help you.

For APA use this:

Last name, first name. (year published).Title of Book. City published. Publisher

For the in text citation use this method:

(Last name, year, pp. numbers of pages)

For MLA use this:

Last name of author, First name of Author. Title of Book. Place Published: Publisher. Year. Print.

MLA also uses footnotes instead of in text:

(Author, pp.#)
